About Us: The 1st Kanwal Scouts has been in operation since June 1955 and is a vibrant and inclusive Scout Group dedicated to nurturing the potential of young individuals. We offer a safe and supportive environment where scouts can develop valuable life skills, forge lasting friendships, and explore the wonders of the great outdoors. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, leadership, and community service, we strive to create an enriching experience that will leave a positive impact on our scouts and the world around us.

Our Programs: At the 1st Kanwal Scouts, we offer a wide range of exciting programs designed to engage scouts of all ages. From Joeys (ages 5-7) to Venturers (ages 14-17), each program is tailored to the developmental needs of our scouts, providing age-appropriate activities and challenges. Through camping, hiking, badge work, community service projects, and much more, our scouts have the opportunity to discover their potential, gain confidence, and develop important life skills.

Our Values: Scouts is a values-based organisation underpinned by the Scout Promise and the Scout Law. Every member of Scouting in the world makes the Scout Promise when they first join Scouting, and at major milestones in their Scouting journey. This includes an undertaking to live by the Scout Law
